His feelings can't just go away, can they?

Question - (23 July 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 25 July 2008)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay,

I'm dating this guy. I'm 15, hes 16.

Things are not the same anymore as I haven't seen him as much.

He said things have now flopped/failed between us.

Before I told him I liked him he used to do all these cute things to get my attention and maybe get me to like him.

At school, every day he said 'You look really pretty' or 'You look really nice today' or 'Your eyes look nice', something like that each day.

He would play with my hair in class, but when I turned around he would drop it and pretend it wasn't him, if you understand?

He would always grab my wrist and stop me from writing. Everyone asked me if I liked him and he liked me but I denied it because at the time I didnt, after a few months I started devoloping feelings for him.

I told him in May and he told me he likes me too. Ive NEVER been in a relationship or dated, I've done nothing with a guy. However, he has gone as far as sex. We started to date, because we were not ready to be in a relationship straight away.

I had an accident, didn't see him in 6 weeks, lost contact via MSN and phone. Won't be seeing him until school starts in September, because he's going on a holiday in a few days.

He said things have now flopped, but does he still like me? If he did all those things before his feelings can't go straight away right? Or can they?

I still really really like him, and I will be seeing him in September, I'm finding it so hard to let go.

Do you guys think he might realise what he missed out on once we get back to school?

Because he did tell me he fell for my personality and it overshadows everything else..

Well, if he really did fall for my personality, I haven't changed..

So feelings may come back, but we never know.

A Males view would be much appreciated.

Thank you x

XxAnGelXxx agony auntOk im not a male, but thought id leave a short reply anyhow. Firstly, feelings gradually fade, you cant just stop liking someone over night, have you asked him about all this? And secondly, that saying, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Maybe some time apart would do you good? x
