reader, anonymous, writes (18 July 2009): He probably doesn't like the thought that some woman would turn him down and walk away from him. He likes to be chased but that's as far as his brain (if he's got one) allows him to go.
He just wants to think that he has a string of women chasing after him and his ego won't let you get away. He doesn't really want you but can't stand the thought that you don't want him.
