writes:Several months ago, my bf had mentioned that he can get bored sexually after a while and that he liked to role play. I was a little surprised (i've never done anything like his) and he said that he was talking something like after a year in the relationship. Well, it's now been a year and the subject hasn't come up again but I'm wondering if he's thinking about it. My libido is much higher than his and I don't think that sex is his thing to begin with. But I want to please him and will do anything. I just have no clue how to role play. How do you start? Do you dress up and actually pretend to be someone else? I know he likes lingerie like garter belts and stockings but since it's summer i don't really see myself wear that. I just find it odd to dress up like this just to have sex. I guess i need some pointers in role playing.

 Some people find when they dress up in the bedroom it can be very liberating and unleash passions they didn't know they had. Treat yourself to some sexy underwear and surprise him...I am sure it will release fireworks.

 Yes, with role play, you act out a fantasy, and you are pretending to be someone else. There are all kinds of role play scenarios. Some of them incorporate forms of BDSM in varying degrees. There is a website called lovepanky.com. It is a sexual role play guide for beginners, and it will answer a lot of your questions.
Let me just say, though, that you should not do anything you are not comfortable doing.
