A female reader, Jen86 United Kingdom +, writes (21 July 2008):

do you really want to put yourself through this? Even though he's been sneaking behind your back and you haven't had sex in 2 years you still want to be with him. Why? So you've been together 14 years. ig deal. What would you do if thae same happened and you had been together 14 months or days? Time makes no difference. To be honest I think he's using you. Leave him before you endure any more heartache. Or give him an ultimatum, he either stops texting/seeing her or you leave him.
