Do you have any tricks for talking to guys? I always feel insecure, like every guy I talk to is going to automatically assume that I like him. It's even worse talking to guys who I actually do like! Please help!

Girl! you have a great sense of humor.Ha Ha.Too good.

A smile starts from the eyes.Think your smile brightens up someone's day.

That guy may be having a really rotten day.His boss may have yelled at him.He may be behind his deadline on a project.

He suddenly sees you.He may be having a secret crush in you for months. He smiles at you.You would want to brighten up his day.wouldn't you?Smile back thinking of that with all your might. It shouldn't look like a toothpaste ad.

watch his face brighten.Hope this helped!!

Be a good listener first.

When he smiles at you, smile back. When he says Hi say Hi.

He will definitely start talking about something.Listen.Make the appropriate Hmmm noises.when you start listening sincerely, you will definitely find some place to pitch in.

All the Best!!

A female reader, bookiebabyyy United States +, writes (19 December 2008):

first and foremost

its ok to be nervous

speak slowly. but not to slowly

have confidence in yourself! just know that everything will be fine.

find something that you and the guy who you are talking to have something in common.

be yourself!

if you have a little nausea just breath in and out slowly

its fine everybody gets nervous when trying to spark a

conversation with the opposite sex.
