Help! I think I'm falling for my ex's cousin

Question - (18 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 19 October 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Me and my ex broke up about two weeks ago, and now I don't know what's going on, he's acting all weird around me and I'm confused. He's playfighting with me, sticking up for me when guys insult me and he's just teasing me. I think I still love him, I'm not too sure. I need to know if he still has feelings for me. I mean, I want him back, I just don't want to be hurt again because he's such a selfish prick. I'm blind in this situation.

But in this, me and his cousin are really close, tell each other everything. We're really good friends and when things were crap between me and his cousin he was always there to support me cause he understands how selfish he can get. He's been there every day for me and I love him as a friend, but lately I've been developing these weird feelings for him. He's just been rejected by this girl and I'm there for him, but inside I'm kinda happy because I want to tell him how I feel about him. But then, I still kinda like his cousin. I don't know what to do, he's on my mind all the time and then I'm reminded that its his cousin. Please help. Me and my ex are 15 and his cousin is 18 next month. I'm stuck in this hole and I don't know what to do.

A male reader, Ven United States +, writes (19 October 2010):

I believe that love is special. If you are having the same kinds of feelings for two guys, then that feeling isn't romantic love.

I say take a break, give yourself some time to clear your head, and then think about guys.
