A female , anonymous writes:

Did I do something wrong? I picked my fiance up from the airport and couldn't figure out how to unlock my door or the trunk right away, but when I finally got it I got out to ask him how his flight was. He told me to go back and do it again (and kiss and hug him) without ever giving me a chance to do so! I thought he looked a little mad because we had fought about trivial things earlier that day on the phone. I was stubborn and got mad and we didn't touch or talk the whole way home. He said I hadn't done anything recently to make him happy (but he was gone for a week!). I told him if he just let me be affectionate when I want to and was more patient I would be more affectionate. He says then I won't do it (which is so untrue!) The day before I picked him up he asked if I would have flowers for him at the airport. Just because he made that comment I didn't want to. Are his expectations too high, or am I just cold? I feel like no matter what I do he is never happy and just criticizes me. If I had all the money in the world, yeah, I probably would do a little more since he seems to correlate affection with me buying him things.

He sounds like a precious little pratt to me. Is he an only child or something? Tell him to grow up and stop behaving like an attention-seeking six-year old. And if he can't do that, I'd open the door for him and boot him through it.

birdynumnums agony auntI don't think that the pretty, pretty princess got NEARLY what he deserved. If someone ever told me that I did not open the car and trunk quickly enough (after I had taken the time to pick them UP!) AND told me to do it AGAIN - I would let him catch a cab, or a rainbow pony with wings. Do you really question yourself after you re-read the letter you just wrote? You are in for a lot of heartache if you let this person anywhere near your future happiness. He is a demanding Prima Dona.

He is too hard on you, he might be controlling later on.I would pay close attention to him and his behaviour if I were you. He has no right treating you this way.Has he always been like this ? He seems to be a difficult person. How do you put up with him ?? It seems as if he thinks that he is Mr. Great Guy or something and you just you. He needs to come down to earth, he would surely end up alone if he keeps this up. No girl, or woman would put up with him.
