He says I've lost my spark and am no longer interesting!

Question - (15 June 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 June 2011)
A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

So... the guy I'm interested in who knows me better than anyone (we talk all the time and he reads me like a book) says I've lost my 'spark' and I'm no longer interesting... that I never try to start conversations and I'm always boring.

Admittedly, I don't get out much. I have a very mundane life and I'm not too interesting, but hearing it from someone you care about so much hurts. And he doesn't say it to hurt me, he says it because he knows I'm not acting like myself.

How can I be more interesting?

Dear Mandy agony auntHI

a true friend will always say it as it is offend or please, thats why we know would could ask them for advice and get a honest answer. Maybe you are in a rutt right now and just cant be bothered to do much, we all get those times. Why dont you do something out of the ordinary and ask him to join you, like going to a fair ground and going on the biggest scariest roller coaster :) just get out there and see the world and let your hair down xx
