You really don't sound ready... These reasons are just your mind saying wait no not yet please.

So talk and be honest with your bf, if he is worth your time he will understand and wait for you, or not pressure you.

Don't let him pressure you into anything you are not 110% comfortable with!!

The doctors are always good for talking about different forms of contraceptive..

And I wouldn't stress about someone walking in if you choose a safe location and an appropriate time.

CindyCares agony aunt If you are scared, you are not emotionally ready .

I think you already know very well that you can use birth control and protect yourself aganst unplanned pregnancy, and you also know that if you take every time adequate measures to protect your privacy nobody will walk in on you.

This are (weak ) rationalizations to hide yourself the fact that you are ...simply not ready yet.

You can always talk to your mom about birth control (say: hey mom, I'm not planning to have sex but I know things can happen in the heat of the moment...). And also use a condom (always use a condom even if you're on birth control to prevent the spread of STDs.) be on the pill for at least a week, and you should have a pretty good chance of not getting pregnant.

Have sex when no one else is in the house or just lock the door.

You need to think long and hard if you want to have sex because if you're this scared, you should probably wait.
