Dear Aunts. I never felt what love is. I have no experience at all. Growing up, people used to make fun of me, say real mean things to me, laughing, taking advantage of my innocent look. I grew up knowing that im ugly, fat, shy and not the best person. Guys that liked me were either dirty or old enough to be my dad because i was a young girl in an old woman s body. I remember a certain boy who was my classmate telling me that i look i have 5 kids. But a lot has changed now. I found ways to boost my self_esteem by doing activities i like. A few days ago i met a real nice, sweet and handsome boy. We get along together very well. We chat online every night before i go to bed. What shocked me is when he told me that he is inlove with me(not that i don't like him). Im scared to tell him i feel the same way. He sounds very serious about it. I mean don't you think he made a mistake by choosing me? Or this is just another joke? :-(

A reader, anonymous, writes (27 July 2013):

You need to have faith in yourself. There are many aspects to love it doesn't only have to do with the way you look. The way you run your life ( your morals) and how you treat other people, how you smile, can also make other love you. It is also possible that you might think you look old but there are men out there who might not think so. You should think more highly of yourself because everyone has a beautiful side and ugly side to themselves. As for the man who is showing interest in you...you should give him a chance ...yes there are a lot of liars and cheats out there...but once in a while a good man comes by and until a man proves himself to be bad ....you should give him the benefit of the doubt. Don't miss out on something that could be good by being paranoid and suspicious.
