writes: hey im 17 and went with a guy for almost 4years. we broke up in 2005 and recently got back together just seeing each other. He told me he loved me and we spent some more gr8 times together. Now he says he loves me and always has but doesnt want anything serious and now doesnt want to just keep seeing me. I dont understand men sometimes so can someone please help me understand him. Im total in love with him just like he says he is with me. I really need to know where i stand please someone help

 I think he made it quite clear when you stand. He wants you and he wants the freedom to pursue any other female who catches his attention. Saying "I love you" can mean everything or nothing, it depends on the person speaking. If he were madly in love with you, nobody could keep him from your side exclusively. But eventually he may come around so it really boils down to whether you are willing to put up with his dating around and waiting to see what happens with your relationship. Good luck!

 Hi there,I read the other day that when a guy says he loves you and always has but does not want anything serious means he still wants to play the field and is not ready for a relationship.Just love him and set him free if he comes back he is yours, as the saying goes.
