He's ignoring you, there's no physical contact and he stood you up twice. How more obvious can this be, dear? He sounds like he's not ready to date. You are an adolescent and in your world, dating and going out are, frankly, a way of shopping around. You don't need this grief. I stand by my original post. Yes-absolutely..leave him in the dust, hun. And whatever you do in the future, you need to decide what relationships are valuable to you and choose wisely, smartly and accordingly. Do what makes you happy and choose someone else who respects you and takes an interest in you.

 He might just be shy or he might not be into you. Sometimes it's easier to talk to someone's friend that in it to talk to them when you have feelings for them. Ask him straight out if he's interested or not and at least then you'll be able to move on from him if he's not.
