A female United States age 36-40, *opa writes:

What do i do?

Sometime back i asked help on how can i go about my X, and everyone one discouraged me not to go out with him,

1. because i dont think i know him so well or even love him

2. because it was going to be in a dinstance relaationship(he lives in a neighbouring country)

3.Because he himself told me he is not intrested anymore and that we can only be friends

and i took all the advice and let go of him,,, howeva he has remained in tourch...a few text messages...and i only reply..

However today i received a message from him ..that his in ma country...for a meeting...so i dont know if i should go and see him....

because if i dont...i will feel guilty...

and if i go and see him..its all going to be tense...

i still have feelings for him..but they are not strong as before..

So do i go and see him?

or pretend am busy....

A male reader, anonymous, writes (25 March 2010):

Go see him at least to satisfy your curiousity. Don't feel obliged to go any further than that if you don't want to. he has already told you he only wants to be friend and make sure he doesn't exploit you but also there is no harm in being civilised.

EbonyBlossom agony auntWait and see if he wants to meet up with you. But don't get your hopes up. Maybe he was just telling you to try and make conversation. Is he even anywhere near you? The USA is huge...

If he asks to meet up, then go, but don't expect anything to come from it.
