writes:I used to be really good friends with this boy and i really liked him as in more than a friend ( still do).For ages he would look at me and smile at me. I could turn round suddenly to find that he was looking at me.When we went on this trip last year on the ferry to the place we were going to. My friend told me that he was looking at me. I turned round and caught him. He kinda blushed and turned round acting like nothing had happened. The trip was a week long and the whole time when we saw each other we couldnt keep our eyes off each other. Afterwards he found out that i liked him and started to ignore me. He did it for months trying to avoid me but recently i asked him why he ignored me and he got annoyed with me ( i did apologise).He gave me weird looks for a few days and now he keeps looking at me again. He smiles sometimes at me aswell. On the way home yesterday we have to walk up this hill to get to the village where we live and he was infront of me with his friends and i wasnt that far behind with mine. He kept looking back at me and my friends kept saying that he likes me. I'm really confused now as we used to be friends and i don't know if he likes me as a friend or a crush.Does he like me or not? Help.

Oh boy. It's never really easy to tell if someone likes you. But from your description, there's a pretty good chance this boy does.If /you/ like /him/, tell him to his face. It's a pretty liberated world these days, and we're allowed to ask guys out now. The worst that can happen is that you're misinterpreting, and your relationship doesn't change much. (Yeah, it'll be awkward for a week or so, but that can fade pretty quick.)

Sounds to me like he likes you, but is REALLY shy! All of you (your friends and his friends) should go to the movies together. Then you could try to sit by him and see what happens...Good Luck!
