I agree with my fellow agony aunts. Confront him, ask him if he is serious. If he is, it's your choice. If he's not, next time he asks you, why don't you ttry winding him up? Why don't you say yes and then dump him straight away? That'll show him!

 If his ex is one of your friends then why would she lie to satisfy her ex? you should confront him and ask him if he is serious... if he is annoying you because you dont know if he is lying or serious, tell him to stop asking you!!
But the best thing to do is confront him... you will feel better with the outcome!! :)
