Out of curiousity,are you sleeping with your friend so that you get over your ex or you are just trying to find sexual satisfaction? What kind of a friend is he if you are always sleeping with him? I'd strongly advise you to take a chill pill and relax from all da sex. You really need time to build an emotional foundation with someone before you start exploring the realms of sex.
As for your question,it most likely means he wants to please you as much as it's pleasing him.Guide him on what pleases you so he can learn to hit the "right" spots.
