writes:the guy i like is my brothers friend, we have known each other for a couple of months. The way he acts around me and stares at me at times made me think he liked me. I am however very shy and dont really talk to him unless iam drunk lol but my family tease me about him when he comes to our house every day. I do like him cause he is so down to earth and my friend told him i liked him but he hasn't said anything or done anything about it. Iam so confused about the whole situation lol he has my number but i havent heard from him, I know he prob isnt interested just need another opinion

reader, anonymous, writes (3 November 2010): he is not shy around others but when its only us in the same room he dosn't talk and he always seems to come into the same room as where i am. last night i was working on an assignment he came by and put his over the book i was reading and laughed. I am so confused, do u think he is playing with me because he knows i like him?

 I can't say for sure, but one reason might be that he's just shy and doesn't know what to say. You know him well enough, if he's not the shy type he's just not interested.
