A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I really like this guy, but i'm not sure what he thinks of me. He's an actor/musician. He isn't a famous one though. I saw him in a show once with my friend, and he said we could have a drink with him after the show, and he sat on his own with us the whole time. He was seeing one of the other cast members ( still is i think ) but he wasn't sitting with her when we were there. I saw him in the show again a few months later . As soon as he saw me he held out his arms and shouted " hello darling!" and i went over to him and he gave me a hug. His girlfriend stood next to him then and he introduced me and my brother to her. My brother and i moved away from them to get a drink, so then me and my brother stood on our own. This guy came over to us on his own for a chat. He went to talk to someone else and he said " i'll not be two seconds " to me , and when he came back he said " sorry , i'm everyone's b**ch tonight " which i think meant everyone wanted his attention but he only wanted to talk us . Well that's what it sounded like anyway! He also asked what we were doing later on (looking at me as he said it). He said he was going back to the hotel for a while as he was tired but he gave us his mobile number so that we could text him. Unfortunately, somehow , we got the last two numbers wrong though, so we couldn't contact him. I found that out later.

Anyway, i sent him a comment on his facebook page recently to ask how he was and he told me what he was up to and he said " how's you ?. unfortunately it's been a long time since the show... ". He put the name of the show but i don't want to type that here. I'm not sure if he was saying that it's been a long time since we saw each other, and that is unfortunate, or if he was talking about it in general. I'm not sure how to respond to him really, apart from telling him what i've been up to lately.

I really like him a lot and i wish he didn't have a girlfriend. I feel bad saying that as i know i wouldn't like it if i had a boyfriend and someone else liked him, whether they went after him or not. But i can't help how i feel about him. He is very good looking, and i felt that we got on well when we met in person. I'd even feel sort of happy if he did fancy me but nothing happened, although that could make me feel worse too. But i don't know if he does or if he just likes me as a friend. I know i will want to see him again if he does any shows/gigs, and i felt like asking him if he has any coming up, but it might be a problem.

Hi. I agree that i should wait out their relationship, but do you think he might feel the same way anyway , or do you think he just likes me as a friend ?

It wouldn't hurt to go to any show/gigs that he has coming up... But don't do anything you'll regret. If he has a girlfriend then you should wait out their relationship. If you and this guy are meant to be then it will happen...
