reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2008): Is he the same age as you? If you are both in the 13-15 age bracket then he is immature, girls always grow up quicker than boys, it is a well known fact. I can vouch for that because i have two sons and one daughter. Just try and get him on his own and let him know how you feel. Tell him that they are being childish and immature and he shouldnt always listen to them. If he continues, then sorry, but i think you should move on to someone who is a bit more grown up, or at least acts their age. He sounds too young.take carexx

 You cannot do much and if you love him , you will have to wait for him to grow up. You can tell him to be more independent and hope he will learn life's lessons from you.He is not ready for a relationship.His buddies is more important than you for now.
