A male reader, anonymous, writes (3 May 2008):

when your older guys wont want to be with you since you have had sex so young. limit your partners to a minimum... because no guy will marry a girl if she slept with too many men unless he is a loser

A female reader, anonymous, writes (3 May 2007):

You are definitely too young to be having sex is you don't understand this. Him coming inside of you has nothing to do with whether you are on your period or not. You ought to look of the statistics on girls that have unprotected sex at your age and see how high the percentage of girls who get pregnant is. You can get pregnant when you are on your period.

If he came inside you, you should get youself checked out for any Sexually Transmitted Infections and for pregnacy. People who are pregnent can still get periods for the first couple of months I think.

Also as you get older you will understand there are other complications and that is why some men and woman have problems conceiving children.

The fact that you asked this question makes me think that maybe you are too young to be having sex. Get yourself checked out just incase and try to use protection in the future to avoid unwanted pregnacy or STI's

A male reader, Dr. John United States +, writes (3 May 2007):

Dr. John agony auntIf you don't know how this is possible, you are definitely too young to be having any sexual relationships.

Pregnancy is a hit and miss thing. Some women get pregnant right away others may go for years and never get pregnant. You just never can predict how it will happen.

Although you should not be having sex at your age I know you are going to do what you think you want to do so I highly recommend you be using some sort of birth control. You have already opened yourself up to a whole new world of problems and situations. For example now you should have regular pap smears, pelvic exams etc. for your personal health and safety. Also is that every time you have intercourse with a guy you are also having it with everyone else that he has had it with and everyone that they have had it with and so on. So you may want to keep this in mind as well. Doc.
