writes:Hi! Sorry this is a pretty basic question. I want to know what it means when a guy asks you if you still like him. First off He knows I've liked him since 6th grade...(we are in 12th now) Second he just asked me over messaging if I still liked him...So I sucked it up and told him yes. Since then I've had no answer to that! It bugs me. Why do guys do that? Honestly? I really really like this guy and I'm scared to ask him if he likes me...I'm afraid of rejection.  I'm wondering if you've recently told one of your friends that you like him. They could have mentioned it to him and he's asking the question. Or he may not have reckoned on the response he got when he asked you and may be a bit shy wondering what the heck he has to do next.
You could message him next time, and say something like 'Hi, how are you today', or something similar to see if he will engage in conversation with you.
