I have been with my boyfriend for over 1 1/2yrs now. Lately his career has been giving him many opportunities to travel and he picks up as much as he can and loves it. With hunting season and his being gone I haven’t seen him but two times in the past month. And he doesn’t even act very nice to me anymore, like he doesn’t care at all. I know once we see each other more again things will be back to normal. But, I don’t know if I want that. Last week he was in California and had meet these trophy girls at work, now he is e mailing one (he doesn’t know I know) and trying to "stay in touch" with her. I am so confused and hurt, I don’t know what to do at all.

kellyO agony auntHi Steph92,

I think u are bottling alot up in this relationship and u need to talk with your boyfriend. A loving chat. You need to tell him everything when next u guys meet. Let him know about your insecurities, how unhappy u are with his frequent travels becos u want to spend more time with him and u can ask him about this lady he met. If the emails doesnt have any intimate wording she could just be a friend or by stander. it isnt my intention to make excuses for him cos she could also be anything but u need to find out and not jump the gun here.

I know how hard long distance can be i have been involved in it myself before so i know how lonely and continual need of reassurance it entails.

Hope this helps. Goodluck dear.
