I have know idea if I've lost my virginty yet.

My cherry HAS been popped, I know that for sure, and it wasnt from sports or horseback riding.

It was from.. Well. To help me with this you might wanna know im Bisexual.

And so are 4 of my best friends.

This one time 1 of those 4 friends were over for a sleepover and we were "fooling around" (making out. Rubbing eachothers bodys close together, sucking on tounges, on top of eachother etc.)

But the last ones the one im wondering about

While I was on top of her, her leg was between both of mine and we were I guess you'd call it "Dry Humpping" and making out and because of the motions and movements we were doing, my cherry popped and I had an orgasim.

So am I still a virgin?

way to go pebble I am right behind you on this one. Although for all the bigots out there, the gay people of the world (myself included) could use the vagina/penis = loss of vaginity rule. Because that means all the churchy anti gay, bigots, and any other small minded people can surely no longer condem gay sex if we all remain virgins for ever. Great i like this idea lol

pebble agony auntTo you Leanne, maybe. But the poster is not you, is she?

She is in a completely different situation and wanted advice so I gave it to her. If you think the only way to lose virginity is penis in vagina then fine. But you might have to accept that some people have different opinions to you.

And anyway, when did it become up to you to define the boundries of virginity for the entire world?

This is a site for open minded, mature individuals - take your homophobic bigotry somewhere else. It isn't welcome here.

So how is it then that virginity comes from WAYY back in the day when women and men had sex naturally. gays and lesbians have only recently, in these past 20-30 years or wotever become 'apparent'. losing your virginty is penis inside vagina. end of

pebble agony auntIf you have used toys on each other then I would consider you not to be a virgin, because well... you can't really go much further than that in a same sex relationship. But again, it's up to you where your 'virginity line' is set. Because as Britt pointed out, things are not as simply black and white as penis in vagina = no virginity.

Glad I could help :)

To Pebble: I agree with you. I don't know what makes people think it has to be between a man and a woman. That's why I said if there was no penetration of any kind!

However...if she didn't bleed, she is probably still a virgin! Thanks for reminding people not everything is so black and white!

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

Hi, I wrote this question. I should have aslo said that we were playing with toys and we both had things stuck up inside us.

Thank you for all your answers, I have a better understanding now :)

pebble agony auntI think some of the answers here are way off. The people saying that virginity is only lost by penis in vagina intercourse seem to be forgetting all the lesbians out there who have only had sex with women. Does that mean they are all virgins because they've never had sex with a man?

No it doesn't.

I agree that with straight people, virginity is lost when the penis goes into the vagina. However, people obviously haven't noticed that the poster said she was bisexual. And the sexual acts that she took part in were with another woman. Everyone here is basically saying that you can do as much as you want with a woman and you will always stay a virgin because women don't have penises to put in you.

Virginity is a state of mind. And loss of virginity in same sex relationships has to be defined somehow. So poster, I would say that you should decide what takes your virginity when you are with another woman. Whether that be her putting her fingers in you, oral sex, using toys, whatever you feel is 'actual sex' in a same sex relationship. It's up to you.

Don't listen to those who say you have to have been with a man - that's a very ignorant view to take.

Good luck :)

If there was absolutely no penetration of any kind...then, you didn't "pop your Cherry"

You would have bled if you had. It is possible to have an orgasm and still be a virgin!

You know to me virginity is a load of religious strudel but for the sake of helping anyone out if you believe in virginity you remain virgin until you have proper sex which is penis in vagina

A female reader, Leanne1234 United Kingdom +, writes (16 May 2009):

you are still a virgin.

the only way your virginity can be broke is when a guy inserts his penis into your vagina. any other motions/movements don't count. one thing i want to know however is how the hell did your cherry pop without having anything stuck up inside your hole. you will have had the orgasm due to your 'friends' leg rubbing on your clit. but my dear, you're a virgin

A male reader, anonymous, writes (16 May 2009):

First of all, i seriously doubt you 'popped your cherry' because of some 'dry humping'. But if you insist, you still are a virgin because you haven't actually done any vaginal penetration. So for all purposes, you still are a virgin!
