Has he become interested in me since we started dancing the Tango for drama class, or am I imagining it?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I go to a drama club and recently we have been working on the cell block tango. We are split into partners and it can be a little awkward as the dancing is raunchy and risqué at times. My partner is a boy about two years older than me and the older brother of a a friend of mine who is a boy.

Now we have got close over the time we have been doing this dance but it has kinda got a bit more than getting close to avoid it being awkward. He has been talking to me a lot, randomly coming up to me in the corridor to ask a question but then he "forgets it" and has been wanting to practice a lot more.

I'm not sure whether this guy is interested in me or just wants to avoid it being awkward and I'm just jumping to conclusions. He seems really nervous when he talks to me. The worst thing is he has a girlfriend but they are on and off constantly and he often hooks up with other girls inbetweeners. The age gap makes it even more awkward as I'm 16 and he is 18. I don't know what to do, im really confused?

Honeypie agony auntI would just have him as a dance partner and NOT get involved with him otherwise. Strictly platonic.
