 I have to agree with both katatonic and satin desire! First off yes a landing strip is for women who wax their pubic hair and leave just a strip lol. Nextly lol, because woman are infact genetically programmed, hair is a sign of good health. ( it can be genetic too, though) So back in the day it really was what women looked for to keep the human race going. Nowadays I think its definitly more of a personal preferance. And I have to admit I'm a sucker for those damned happy trails too lmao! My boyfriend has one and zomg its the cutest yet hottest thing ever!!!!! Right next to animals and babies for me!!!! Squuueeeeep! I love it! ^_^

 I call it the treasure trail =D ..and yes..it has the power to drive me completely crazy!lol it's not so much that you can see it, its the fact that you can't see where its leading to! I'm bi, and so i guess i can give you an example that you can relate to! You know the way sometimes when a girl bends over, and for a breif second you can see the top of her thong, and suddenly you can't take your eyes (or mind) of it..and it drives you crazy?its the same thing!Or that little dip between the collar bones??maybe thats just me?!lol

 Yes, Katatonik, I always thought that landing strips were for ladies (and a little further South) and happy trails for guys.
It depends on the guy for me. Some guys I think it look super manly and studly. Kind of rugged. Like natures arrow -- to the goods below. Some guys, it doesn't look right on. You know how some guys look awesome with goatees and some look ridiculous with them? Same concept!

 I always thought that what you describe was a "happy trail" and landing strips are when girls shave everything but a strip of pubic hair above the vagina...goes to show you what I know =P
I'm guessing it's a matter of personal preference. I wouldn't say I'm driven crazy by it but I'm sure some women are, the same way some people have a fetish for feet and some for butts and some for long hair. Etc.

 Hm, that's actually a very good question.
Women are genetically programmed...wired, if you like, to be attracted to signs of health and virility in a man. obvious body hair is one sign that a man is fertile and can produce healthy children, and is strong enough to protect her from predators and provide her and your family with food!
It all goes back to the cave man days when survival of the human race depended on the healthiest and fittest people having children together.
So, the 'happy trail', 'treasure trail' or 'landing strip' as you say, is merely a signal to her that you have enough testosterone in your body.
I love a hairy man, myself, my fiance's chest is very furry and I find it extremely sexy. Not all women like hairy men, but some do.
Consider yourself very lucky that she's not the kind of girl that likes smooth guys and makes you shave or wax it off!
So there you go, that's probably why she likes your furry tummy so much.
