writes: This might sound a stupid question to some people but it is really effecting me. Im 16 and i find it hard to look at a girl face to face because one of my eyes turns in and i hate it. Will it bother girls if my eye turns in? because it is really effecting my confidence. please help.

 Some girls will be turned off by it, but there will be some out there that find it distinctive and unique, something that makes you different (and interesting). Remember that girls are much less interested in physical appearance than boys.
Confidence is one of those strange things: the only thing you can do to get it is to get it. Find some aspects about yourself that are cool (ask your friends why they like you if you can't think of any), and focus on those. Think of those when you are around girls. Also, remember that almost all girls your age are very unconfident about their appearances, so a little flattery about their appearances will make them so happy they won't care about your eye at all. Honestly, most of them when they see you will be worrying about whether their hair is cute or whether their skirt makes them look fat, and not worrying about how you look. It also helps to remember that any guy come up to and flirting with a girl makes her feel good up to a point: that you got her attention makes her realize she is attractive. For that reason, the next time you want to go up to and talk to a girl, know that whatever happens she's going to be glad you did it. Think about it from your point of view: if a girl you don't like comes up to you, even though you don't like her your confidence will be improved because she did. It's just the same for girls. So go talk to them and give them that bit of confidence.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 April 2006): hey, Im a 16yr old girl and to be very honest with you most girls grow up alot quicker then guys we don't really mind how people look more than offten we care about how a guy can be talk to us, be bubbley, laugh, flirt alittle, try to be confident remember later on in life good looks fade but your personality stay with you for ever.
