I wouldn't call it a "fetish" but I sometimes find glasses especially attractive on a woman. My wife and I have used them occasionally, but not often.
Could be the implication of above-average intelligence: I'm REALLY attracted to brainy gals! One drawback to wearing glasses through the whole encounter is the lenses tend to get smeared, and the glasses-wearer may have some difficulty seeing her partner as well as if she wasn't wearing them.
Or maybe it's the fantasy of seducing a passionless, nerdy, librarian type - getting her to do things that are DEFINITELY contrary to the cultural stereotypes. To complete the image, I have my wife use barrettes and hair clips to hold her hair back. Our little kink comes as everything is lined up, just one second before the penis goes in, and I take off the glasses and free her hair as she says, "F*** me!".

You can get plain glass ones from most optomotrists. Hell, unless things have changed, you can just buy the ones on dispay.
It is a fetish not dissimmilar to stockings/garter. Uniform. Suit. Etc etc.
The idea behind it might be that girls with glasses are the opposite of the cheerleader. A bit bookish, nerdy even. Cool and remote but with hidden passion that boils over when she lets her hair out of the thight bun and takes of her glasses.
Is it hot in here?

Your husband is not the only one... My boyfriend loves glasses on girls, luckily i have to wear them anyway so its not a problem. I don't really know what it is that makes them like it so much... Although they're normally one of the things that turn him on, we usually both take our glasses of in the bedroom... they just get in the way :PAs Annalisa said, talk to the local optician and they should be able to advise you on this.Good Luck xx

HAHA! At first I thought I read 'glass eye'! Sorry...
Yeah, well, I think men liking women with glasses is ok, he probably just thinks they look intelligent or may even remind him of a teacher or librarian he fancied as a student!
I wear glasses myself, so I haven't encountered it as an issue before, but when we first dated and I usually wore contacts, my husband came to see me perform in the role of a secretary and I had to wear my glasses... he did comment the strict teacher look made me really sexy!
I wouldn't wear glasses for fashion, as it then becomes a bit silly. You could get a very mild pair from a chemist or speak to your local optician for advice and just wear the glasses as part of kinky dress-up.
At the end of the day a fetish shouldn't rule our lives and he fancies you as you are, without glasses, so what's the pressure?

Wikipedia states:
Glasses fetishism is the name used to describe a fetishistic attraction to people wearing prescription glasses. [10][dead link] In many cases wearing glasses during sexual acts and ejaculation on glasses play an important role. An entire genre of pornography has developed around the theme of women wearing glasses during sexual acts, often dubbed "spex appeal". Glasses fetishists may refer to attractive women or men with glasses as "spexy." Some famously spexy women among glasses fetishists include Tina Fey, Stephanie March (as Alexandra Cabot on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Rachael Harris, and on part time basis, Charissa Thompson (unfortunately for glasses fetishists, she usually wears contact lenses on screen).
Glasses fetishism in anime, especially on female characters, is called meganekko.
