Question - (20 January 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 20 January 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Dear Cupid's, I have a question for all the girls out there and any guys who are medically oriented. I suffer from excedingly heavy periods, that are very painful and completely dibilitating. Included in my flow are huge clots and things that are not blood clots but look like tissue and meat. they are insoluble and really hurt. I was wondering what I could have because I am positive what I am experiencing isn't normal. I'm on my period at the moment and couldn't go into school today, I've gone through 13 pads today and it's only 2pm. I am in absolute agony and don't know what to do. Ibroprofen doesn't work, nor do hot water bottles. Please help, I'm in tears at the moment. What could I have? What can I do about it?

Honeypie agony auntLike everyone else said, you need to be seen NOW. Do not put it off. Have you mom make the appointment if you don't want to yourself and then go.

Birth control might be able to help you have lighter periods. But in order for that to happen you need to be seen by a doctor or preferably a gynocologist.

Feel better.

go get medical professional help from either your doctor or a gyno. talk to your mum about it and let her help you out. it may be nothing serious, but you will feel so much better once you know.
