Question - (24 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 24 October 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I just got back in a relationship with my boyfriend whom i was with for a year and 8 months a couple of days ago. I broke up with him because i just got fed up with his games, lies, and how he treated me. We've been through so much and everytime he cheated on me, which was 4 times, i took him back. So i took him back the other day because for one i really love and want to be with him and he drove 2hrs crying to get back with me. He said he loves me and he has changed. well lately its been the same ol routine that has been going on before. We're going in circles once again. he hasnt changed and im up here crying because im so tired of this. and since we've been together all i can think about is everything he had done wrong to me in the past and it hurts so bad. i love him so much but the way he continues to treat me isnt worth it. and besides i dont trust him. im 18 and he is too and he's still in high school and im in college and i cant be having all this nonsense going on. he always thinks he's right. i need advice because i want to let go but i can't because i love him and dont want to see him with no one else!

Aunty BimBim agony auntNo where in your question do I see one redeeming quality for this young man, he lies, he cheats, he plays games, he said he had changed and he hasn't.

Your last sentence says "dont want to see him with no one else" .... why on earth not, surely somewhere in this world there is a girl who lies and cheats and plays games and would be his perfect match!! A girl who deserves a man like him!

You were with him for one year and 8 months, thats a total of 20 months, he cheated 4 times, thats an average of once every 5 months, are you sure you can't let go?
