writes: please help!i can't tell if the person i love, loves me. she says she doesn't,but she always comes up with work related reasons to spend time with me. we work, but there is a lot of conversation and long periods of no work and just talking and being together. many times she spends the night with me.nothing physical happens, but we sleep in the same bed. we have been intimate before, but its been a while. its tough for me. i feel like i get mixed signals. she flirts with me a lot too. it's subtle, but it's definitly flirting. does she really care about me or is she just enjoying knowing how i feel about her?

 I am having kinda of the same issue but the only difference is ive been dating my girlfriend for a little over a year. I would confront her about it and ask her what she really thinks you might get lucky she might actually tell you. Good luck Buddy

reader, anonymous, writes (5 November 2006): I dunno, this is verrrrry strange, if this has been going on awhile, I think she is just afraid of being anything more than a friend with you.....and frankly I don't know what you see in her except for the challenge, as you don't mention anyting else except the frustrating experience of being at arms length with this woman.....can't help you out of this one pal, you're on your own.

 She probably has some attractions to you, but I dont think she'll want it to be serious. If your so concerned you'll just have to confront her and if you cant do that just do something that will make YOU feel comfortable around her.
