 Yes and possibliy no. he might just see you as what you are to him, just a friend. when people talk there friends about there relationship there expect to them to feel pleased and jealous of them.
But if i was him (but i'm not) i would use that i'm dating this man, how i'm fancy this man or how bare manz asked me for my number. to make a guy jealous, to see how he really feels about me.

 I would say the short answer to this is yes. Often was assume other people know how we feel because we feel something so strongly ourselves but it isnt always the case. If you don't do anything or communicate how you feel then you can't take it as a given he knows anyway.He most likely assumes you see him as only a friend because you have given him no reason to feel any differently, thus he looks at other women as potential partners. Hope that helps.
