writes:My BF of a year has been gone for a week, he saw his LTR ex at a Christmas party (he told me she called him and if it was ok with me to go - although it totally killed me I said "it's ok"). We talk every night for a short sweet catch up. He hasn't said he misses me. I texted him "I miss you so much", his reply "XOXOXOXOX". I'm assuming that means he isn't missing me - do you think seeing the ex has affected him negatively? What should I do ??

why do you assume that he sends hugs and kisses (that's what the xx00xx000 means) means he does not miss you?
