writes:i was chatting with this guy i really like. we are good friends. he sort of appears outgoing but is actually quite shy especially with women. i,ve known him ages and he has never had a girlfriend. (he's not gay) we were recently joking about what is 'man talk' and he laughed and said - 'you know its when men talk dirty about women'... he then looked at me really serious and said - but i would never do that about you *my name*he also texts me every time i see him to say it was great to see you today. he is also known for never giving compliments.......but has emailed me to say my hair looked lovely and nearly always finds an item of clothing - coat, jumper etc i am wearing that he likes (and usually touches it as well....)although he only says it if the 2 of us are together.i would be grateful for any advice.thanks

reader, anonymous, writes (20 December 2009): He likes you but since he is shy, he does not dare to tell you that! If you want his attention to you and like him accordingly, must give him the signal yourself and make the first move! who knows what might happen? It may go either way. He may respond and says he loves you for a long time, or it may backfire on your face! In any event, best wishes and good luck,eh!
