I have had men that I know tell me that they do this when they are intimidated by a beautiful women. Thanks for any input on the subject you could give.

reader, anonymous, writes (25 July 2008): As a girl, if I see some guy flirting with another girl then I wuld assume that he's interested in her. So I would leave them alone and move on and socialise.
I think these mind games are a waste of energy and people judge what they see in front of them.

 I second that thought, I tend to break the ice with a "less attractive woman" if they're in a group.
But, sometimes by doing so, the less attractive woman often end up being more beautiful than the attractive one.
I noticed that anyway.
