writes:I might be really stupid and this might sound like a stupid question... but basically, I'm in love with this guy, I barely know him and we haven't talked for years. When we did talk, I think he used to like me, although we weren't close friends or anything. I can nearly always tell if someone likes me, although I am sometimes wrong. Well, I have now liked him for three years and we don't talk at all... but everytime we see each other, well, most times, he catches my eye, and it just feels like there's a connection between us! I feel like I know him really well, and sometimes I catch him looking at me. However, other times he doesn't catch my eye at all, but some days, neither do I, even though I do really like him. The other day I found this story which was about two people that commited suicide on the same day because they loved each other, but neither told the other and both though the other liked someone else... clearly I don't want to commit suicide, but am I mad or is there a connection between us?  If you feel that there is a connection well then go on your own feelings and just talk to him. Nothing will ever come from it if you don't make an effort and you will also be left asking yourself what if. Just talk to him and GET to know him more and see how things go. Make an effort. As for the comment about suicide that's a bit dramatic. Just get to know him and see how it goes.

 If you feel that there is a connection then there is possibly a connection.
The only way to find out for sure is to talk to him, get to know who he really is. It's silly to keep on eyeballing him and saying nothing.
