writes:What happens to people who do not have a conscience and go through life using other people and manipulating them? Do they end up ahead?I know somebody like this who keeps using people but is so sweet about it they get fooled. Goes from man to man. Takes their money, plays the victim, breaks up and then moves on to the next. No conscience about the hearts she hurts. Or about the people she leads on. Will this person ever be happy or is she the one who will become rich at the end and all the people she played are the real fools?

It depends on what you mean by ahead. If a person manipulates another person and cheats them, steals their money, hurts their feelings, and doesn't care, they will get ahead financially. However, we all become our actions. In other words, they will become a manipulator, a cheat, a thief, a hurtful person, who is uncaring and doesn't have feelings for others. Such a person never feels good about themselves and others respond accordingly. This is the meaning of karma, whereby we become what we choose in each moment, and that is what comes back to us. Such a person gets ahead financially but not in terms of consciousness and the experience of life.

But seriously, When I see these questions I feel that you are asking because you have been affected by her misbehavior. You are hoping that someone will tell you that in the end she will suffer for her crimes. I want to introduce into your mind a new thought. Here it is: How will her suffering make your suffering less? It won't there will just be twice as much suffering.
Revenge serves no purpose other than to spread misery. Instead focus on healing. Learn to let it go. It's not easy and it doesn't come naturally.
In the end Players/users are not normal people. They don't respond emotionally the same way that you and I do. You can't expect them to behave the same way the rest of us do. I don't excuse them, what they are doing is wrong. Maybe some day they will be healed.

Once her looks are gone, I'm sure she will find herself a very lonely and bitter woman.

 If she can keep it up for the long haul I will be surprised. As people get older they see through these people easier and won't put themselves out there to be hurt. Also, it will catch up with her down the road. If only because after a while she will be competing with her mirror image that is 15 years younger.
