Do we see teenage girls as sex objects? yes, in general we do, just most of us are polite enough to not show it.
Why? Well there's loads of reasons, but we can't help it, it's part of our psychological make up because it used to be a biological necessity. Our psyche just hasn't evolved as fast as medical advancements, there was a time when our average lifespans where in the 40's, when infant mortality was huge, death from complications during child birth far too frequent and having children especially male heirs was vitally important to the survival of a family and legacy.
So starting a family young was important.
We just have an inane attraction to young women, why do you think most women spend their entire lives and vast fortunes trying to stay young looking? Unfortunately we're still stuck in an age where youth is seen as the greatest beauty.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 July 2009): These type of men are very immature and wouldn't dream of doing that to a woman, so they pick on young innocent girls that don't know what to do....it's called sexual harrassment and if you HAVE to walk by there, tell the cops, they will take care of it. It is against the law in america, especially with a minor. Tell the cops you are afraid to walk by there because of what they yell at you, and don't spare the language, tell them exactly what they are saying to you.
If you were in my town, I'd take care of it for you :)
Please don't let them distort your thinking about men, this is just a small sampling and a very bad sample at that!

truth be told yes most men see girls as sex objects. but usually when a boy/man says somrthing like the incidents u described they only mean it as a joke and being a boy i can relate to that.however there is nothing u can do about it unfortunately and wherever u go there will always be an idiot who will give u a wolf whistle. but thats life
