Do men like to make their girlfiends jealous to attract them? Or is it to hurt them? Or is it for them to go away? I'm confused about the way my ex acted as our relationship was shaking not so long ago. I'm wondering why was he trying to make me jealous. He knows I was possessive of him and didn't waste any time trying to make me jealous. And still is trying even when we broke up. Why?

baby duck agony auntThe answer you should seek is to the question, "Why are you possessive?"

On the very rare occasion that I have been jealous, I told my current bf about it, a week or two after it had passed. I never had one give me an unkind response, but then, I am not possessive and I can count the times I've been jealous on one hand. My husband never does anything to make me jealous, although there have been times my friends got upset (in my behalf) about the way other women flirted with him. He always handled it with class, so I never needed to get upset.

Back in my dating days, if a guy was possessive, I dumped him. I just had no use for that kind of drama. I did not behave inappropriately, so if he got bent out of shape about something, it was his issue...not mine.

Once you release possessiveness, you might not attract guys that play those childish games.

If you are broken up, he has just moved on and you need to learn to accept it.
