writes:My best friend and I go swimming all the time. We have a great time and have lots of fun, the only problem is his swim trunks. He has worn the same pair for years. They are white and have a black pattern down the leg. This was fine when the were new but now they become see-through when they get wet because they are so old. He also has gotten thinner since he got them so they keep falling down, not all the way but enough to see his pubes and the top of his butt crack. The truth is I find everything about these trunks... distracting to say the least. I keep getting turned on when ever we swim(we both now each other is gay). What should I do? Do I tell him to get new trunks or do I just enjoy the eyecandy?

 Maybe he can't afford to buy new swim trunks or these are his favorite pair?
If you're getting turned of by the display, then it doesn't sound necessary to tell him he needs new swim trunks.

 Say to him that you think it is time for him to find another pair then go shopping and help him pick something out. It's not like you are putting him down, you just think that they are to worn out.

reader, anonymous, writes (26 May 2012): in my opinion if it bothers you a lot and you're tired of seeing him in the same ones,maybe you should buy him another pair simular to those and tell him you just wanted to be nice and you know he likes wearing those so you think he might want an extra pair, that he would look good in them,and that you were just looking around and happened to notice them :] i hope this answer helped!
