reader, anonymous, writes (20 November 2012): I'm so glad I ran across this post. I'm 17 and a virgin, but the guy I'm with now might be my first. I personally think I have an excessive amount of hair down there and I hate it. I tried shaving but it hurts like hell when you cut yourself or when the skin gets irritated. I also tried waxing but it didn't work that well either. I think I'll just trim it from now on and go from there. Thanks all ^.^

in other words they like you, not weather you have hair or not. at 16 and still a virgin i would suggest you leave thing as they are. nice and natural.
i think its more important to know the correct names for your parts though. vaginas dont have hair.

Shaved is nice, but the stubble is rough during oral, and it can irritate my junk sometimes. Some women also get irritated from their own stubble on their outer labia/inside thigh during prolonged or agressive sex. I guess it depends on how hairy they are to begin with, how much lubrication and which positions you do. Shaved is nicer if you are both "visual", if you know what I mean.
A hairy bumhole is a bit of a turnoff tho...I do prefer that to be shaved or waxed if she has hair back there.

Ive gone throught cycles of being shaves and having slight hair.
Personally I prefer it with a little hair, about an inch long. When its shaved it may feel nice to touch but it doesnt look good in the mirror, I felt less of a woman!

Personally I prefer trimmed or shaven. Just simply because it's easier to give head without picking pubes out of your teeth or holding back pubes to get to the fun bits.

Some guys freak out with a young girl who shaves- as they feel like a creep going after a kid.
But let's back up... at your age you shouldn't be thinking how to trim to attract boys! Some boys are going to seek you out once they hear that you're making yourself available for them to get off with- and then your reputation is trashed. Save yourself for someone who's worth it and who will not tell all his freinds that your an easy lay.

This is entirely a personal taste thing. Some guys like a lot of bush, some like completely shaved.
Most guys will get along with whatever you decide - however, there's really nothing more versatile - sure to appeal to the highest number of guys than a well trimmed and groomed pubic region. You don't have to shave, but putting in a little effort to tame the jungle helps let a guy know that you put forward the effort to not just be 'pretty' but to be 'sexy' or more to the point - 'sexual'. It makes a guy feel special, like you put that effort in for him. Even if you didn't, there's something about the obviousness of effort being made to be sexually appealing that makes a guy respond.
