 Absolutely, girls masturbate! I will say this though, I think that girls start masturbating (on average, of course) alot later than boys do. Why? Well, boys have it easy. It's not very complicated to masturbate if you're a guy. However, for a girl, it's a little harder to figure out how to push your own buttons. First off, it's hard to SEE what you're doing, second off - it takes awhile to get yourself into that frame of mind.
I'm guessing that all the girls you've talked to are around your age of 15ish. I didn't masturbate until I was 18-19!
But, yes. Girls do. They don't talk about it as much - and especially not around guys. Not at that age!

 Masturbating is as natural for girls as it is for boys. As to frequency, not down to sex but the individual.
This is way to get to know your body better and it is healthy but still a taboo in some circles hence why not everyone discusses it openly.
Girls do not say they masturbate because they do not want to be teased.

 Yes, girls do it. They may not start as young as guys, but once they figure it out...they do it. I did it when I was about 15. We never talk about it though...with guys it's just the cool thing. See, society teaches that girls aren't supposed to like sex or masturbating as much as guys...and, well that's just not true.
Girls may not admit to it..but trust me, they are exploring their sexuality just as you guys are.

 Girls talk about it less but yes of course we still masturbate. I wouldn't know if we do it as much as the average teenaged boy though. I'm guessing probably not, but rest assured 90% of the girls you know masturbate at some time or other.
