writes:hey!!i have been going out with my boyfriend for three months we recently broke up...he broke up with me he said we wernt seeing enough of each other and although it was me who had brought the subject of whether we were happy or not up i was really sad about the whole situation!!.he still tries to be friends but i found it really hard especially since he kept flirting with me... so we were mailing each other about two weeks later and we had a big argument.he said i was a bitch the whole time and i told him its hard not to be when i miss him so much i said that we should forget about the friendship it wasnt going to work out.he said that he missed me and we decided to get back together ( he asked me).anyway since we got back i have found it isnt the same way it was i dont know if i made a mistake taking him back because he broke up with me and because i have a feeling the only reason he really broke up with me was because he wanted to see this other girl that he was flirting with even when we were going steady!!what advice do you's suggest??

reader, anonymous, writes (4 July 2008): Erm yeah it was a mistake. I don't like telling bad news but this is actually for the benefit of good news.
Whatever happened before happened, but you got back together even after the bit between the last break up and then. Getting back together, for whatever reason he decided, was totally bizzare.
Going out didn't work out before. You later found out after arguements friendship didn't work. So you went back to going out?! So what he was flirting with another girl - shows how into you he is.
Get out of there and go for someone more mature, isn't such a jerk and give him a slap from me in the hope he'll wake up to Planet Earth.
