I really like Fred and Fred really likes me but he won't go out with me because he used to like a girl (let's call her Sarah) but not any more but Sarah still likes Fred and he doesn't want to break her heart by going out with me. They never went out or anything. I'm stuck in the middle of this and I did ask him if he said he only liked me to make me feel better. I need help!! Reply to this Question

 He doesn't know what he wants, end of story. Don't even bother, look for someone that wants to date you rather than someone that needs convincing.

 And what did Fred say? Fred still cares about Sarah hence why he won't go out with you. Otherwise why would he care about hurting her feelings. He does't care about your feelings getting hurt because he said he liked you and now won't go out with you because of Sarah. If Fred really wanted to be with you, he wouldn't let Sarah's feelings hold him back. Walk away from this love triangle..

Truth is Fred still likes Sarah, and doesn't know what to do. Just steer clear of him. There's no point in going out with a guy who can't make his mind up.
