Question - (3 July 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 4 July 2011)
A female United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I seem to have developed a bit of a crush on one of my friend's brothers. Have met him a few times at social gatherings and not too sure if the feeling is mutual?

Was at a BBQ and he did seem quite jokey with me, and made sure I knew he was talking to me as he did keep saying my name everytime he joked or teased.

At one point he was teasing me about cakes and as I'm trying to cut back on sweet stuff I only had a little cake, he kept trying to get me to have more but I said no i'm on a diet. He just asked me why? My reply, I eat too many sweets and cakes lol, which I do. He insisted on getting me a small piece of cake and came back with a small piece and a spoon. How thoughtful?

This was commented on as it wasn't something he normally does, apart from for his mum.

Plus he did keep taking a peeky glance at me and did seem to follow me about.

My question is was he just being friendly or maybe more to it? He knows I could have got my own cake but he was very insistent. Any reasons why he would be so insistent?

I need other opinions as I'm not too sure if my feelings are misreading things, you know that can happen!

Most guys do tease girls they like.

If he was being very consistent about bringing you something, he is either a gentleman, or most likely into you.

Give it some more time, and if the flirting keeps up and he shows more signs, he deffinitley likes you.
