A female reader, chigirl Norway +, writes (6 May 2010):

chigirl agony auntBe confident! If you are confident you wont need to stare in the mirror to confirm how you look. If you are confident, you will look amazing even if you have mascara running down your face on a rainy day with your hair soaking wet. If you are confident you wont care if the wind messes up your hair, you will laugh at it and continue having fun.

Why would you need to constantly look in mirrors when you KNOW you look great? So everytime you get that urge to look in the mirror, close your eyes and think "I know I look amazing!" and then walk by the mirror without looking.

Make a point out of it everytime you manage not to look, and be proud of yourself for everytime you don't look. You will gain so much more confidence and freedom once you are free from this addiction!
