natasia agony auntSimple answer: yes, you could be pregnant, but you won't usually get a positive result until at least 14 days after conception, and in some cases later. Count 14 days after you had the sex. Do one of the most sensitive tests. If it is negative you probably aren't pregnant. Wait another couple of days. If your period doesn't start, test again. If it's still negative, wait until your period is a week late. Test again. If no period and still negative, go see the doctor.

You might be, you might not be. Periods can often vary and be a week late, in some people, and at your age. And stressing does have the possibility of delaying your period! So try to relax.

If you are having sex without birth control, does that mean you want to be pregnant?

Honey, to start with, stop stressing. Once, I had a period over 3 weeks late because I was so worried about being pregnant! Stressing only makes it worse, I promise you. So take a few long baths and relax, if you can. Take another pregnancy test honey in one week if your period still hasn't come (as the most accurate pregnancy test results come when you test 4 weeks after the possible date you concieved). But it'll help if you stop worrying, really, I know how you're feeling and it's horrible. Especially at your age. So take a test in a week, good luck! If you need me mail me honey.
