Circumcision the best answer?

A male United States age 30-35, *6VX writes:

I'm uncircumcised, I have a bit of a problem with pulling my foreskin back when erect/hard. I can pull the skin all the way back when soft/not erect but when I'm erect it's like I don't have enough skin and it's going to rip. I can pull it halfway over the head but it's like when I pull it back the head it's much bigger. I've tried to use baby oil and KY Jelly for lube to make it be able to slide but nothing works and it's quite painful to try to pull it back, feels like it's going to rip open. I got it to go over the head once but it was SO painful I had to pull it back over and it's very sensitive. Do you think circumcision is the best answer?

There are conditions which require adult circumcision but equally it may be that topical ointments may correct it w/o circumcision .

ONLY A DOCTOR - and maybe a specialist dermatologist for that matter - can diagnose and prescribe treatment. Don't delay any more.

While waiting for the appointment go to Walmart or similar and ask the pharmacist for a small tube of Diprobase cream. It won't do any harm and if you plaster it all over your penis tip and under the foreskin as far as you are able without hurting yourself it will provide temporary relief.

If you're asked what it's for and you don't like to come out with it you could say you're getting it for your mother. It's just a few bucks and it will help but don't put off seeing the doc!

Thank you all for replying, and Rivi I haven't had intercourse yet but the urge is getting harder to ignore and I'm 22.

It also feel like the skin connected to the urethra is about tear as well, do you think it is still Ok to pull it back everyday although already do when I shower but it's usually soft. That's also another issue it's hard to pull back because it's gets hard when touching it no matter what.

I don't know whether going for a full on circumcision is best, you should give that some thought before making that irreversible decision. From your explanation it seems you simply have a tight foreskin. This problem can usually be solved by stretching the foreskin daily. When you have the time, like before going to bed, or better yet after taking a shower, take 5 to 10 minutes and stretch your foreskin. Gently hold the skin from opposite sides and slowly stretch it out as far as it can go, not to the point of pain, and hold it there for a short period of time. Stop and repeat for about 5 minutes daily and this should after a month or two loosen your foreskin. Try this first, if it doesn't work then consider circumcision.

Only a doctor can say.

If lube doesn't help then it definitely does not sound normal.

How do you find intercourse ?

Hey man, you need to exercise the foreskin in order for it to stretch enough to pull back when your erect basically you have to lightly tug at it like when you are masturbating use some vasaline to make your foreskin more pliable. Don't try to pull it all the way back right away just take time to stretch it slowly. I've had mine tighten up after getting raw from excessive sex and masturbation and got it to stretch again but it took a few days to be comfortable. For you it may take weeks but you must work it. Everyday. Pull untill it just starts to hurt then release do this over and over making sure you keep it moist with lube I'd say you should do it at least 15 minutes a day if not more. I wouldn't dream of getting circumcised as its freaking barberick and sick if you think about what they are doing. It dose not prevent disease that is a myth. You will also lose sensitivity in you head as a result. Enjoy what you have as those who have never had a foreskin can never know how good you havev it. Just be confident that it will streach it just takes time. Make sure you keep it clean too. Good luck pal!
