A female reader, pebble United Kingdom +, writes (1 May 2009):

pebble agony auntYou cannot fake a positive pregnancy test. It isn't possible. The only way would be to get someone else who is pregnant to take the test for you.

Someone mentioned the pill giving false positives but this is incorrect. Tests measure the level of HCG hormones in the urine. HCG is only present in pregnant women. Not in those taking the pill.

Why do you ask this question?

blahblah666 agony auntthere is no way you can trick a pregnancy test. although i think the pill may say you are pregnant (not too sure) but it may come up positive in that case. although the only way i know it can come up positive without you being pregnant is find someone who is pregnant and get them to do it lol

ArmyMedic agony auntI was going to say what Phil said! Get a pregnant woman's piss, or have a Genetics lab set up in the basement.

Now what you need to do is talk to her and find out what the pair of you are going to do about this situation.

Who agony auntI'm thinking there is no way any good can come out of answering this question. Suggest no one answers it.

If the asker of this question really is a male age 16-17, and someone is showing them a postive pregnancy test, saying he is the cause, they have an adult problem. If he believes the test has been faked, he has several possible additional adult problems. He is going to need to be an adult to cope wiht these problems. He is either adult enough to cope or he is not. I don't think any answer given here can turn in into an adult if he is not.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (29 April 2009):

No, that's not possible. A pregnancy test looks for the level of HCG in the urine, and if this is higher than it should be, then it will show positive. It can only be faked if the urine sample was from someone else who was pregnant, or if some not so clever person had drawn the line on themselves (which i'm sure would not look very convincing. Obviously, this couldn't be done with a digital test.

Hope this helps!

sounds like there is a severe lack of trust in what i'm assuming is a relationship... more communication needed perhaps

I doubt it - not unless you happened to have a pot of piss from a pregnant woman to pour over the stick!
