writes:I have a question about...different types of hugs.And the reason why is because, well, I've seen articles about how you can kind of tell how a guy feels about you by the way that he hugs you.This is an interesting subject for me, because, as expected, there is someone that I am interested in. And the way he hugs me like ...I don't know XD it's just a little weird, the way he acts around me sometimes.I'll get on with why I think this way.So girl and I were talking to him and she said :( you didn't hug me today and he was like yea i know haha and kind of shrugged. Then I said, he didn't hug me and I'm not complaining, and at that moment he pulled me into his arms with slight aggression against his chest and hugged me with his hands on my head(both of them)And I'm just like....wow....XD This is not...a friendly hug! lol.At first, I was thinking that he hugged me that way because I was short but... he's hugged me I think, around my waist before(or was it around my shoulder....o.o don't remember) so it couldn't be that.But yeah.That so didn't feel like a 'friend' hugand then he like teased me XD after a few seconds he put his hand on my face and pushed and said ";) alright that's enough hugging" then went to hug my friend, but he hugged her normally.He was teasing me perhaps?When I was about to go, I hugged him and he hugged me the same way the touched the top of my head and was like "O.o ooh scratchy!" and I was like "That's because it's weave!" and he laughed like "Yes, I know!" So I touched his hair and he was like " :3 noope not scratchy, this is my hair" and I was like "Yeah, I figured :p"I can't really tell if that hug was like a teasy kind of friend hug or an "I like you but I don't want any1 to kno so I'm just gonna play it off,"Honestly, if he's touching my hair like that, I figure he must like my hair then XD.What do you all think. Could the way a person hug you be a sign of how they may feel towards you?

 Sometimes how people hug has more to do with the situation then how they feel. Though I highly doubt he would hug someone he DIDN'T like with such fierceness.
However, I would try to not read too much into it.

It seems that you already have a pretty fair idea that the way he hugged you, compared to how he hugged your friend, does seem distinctly different.
And you seem to have already worked that out for yourself.
I believe that what you said here, exactly explains what happened.
That yes, the two types of hugs ARE different.
