A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay so my boyfriend has recently gone back to university which is 3 hours from where i live, i rarely get to see him anymore and i am finding it really difficult. Hes in his last year but i got so used to him being around over the summer holidays that its hit me really hard, we spent every day together and he basically lived at my house. Now hes back at university i feel like hes lost interest, he doesnt text or ring as much as he used to and when we do talk i feel like its a one way conversation. i do love him and i know he loves me but i wish hed show it more, i feel like when i ring him im pesturing him. im worried hes going off me although he always reassures me he isnt, but i just want to know how i can get him to want me more! What should i do, has anyone got any advice? i really dont know how to play this, i dont like going on about it to him because im scared itl push him away. Help please

Talking to him and trusting him is all you can do. Being away at university is a hard thing, that can make a great deal of time slip away from you.

You need to get busy with your own life so you aren't so preoccupied with his. Now is a great time for you to learn to do new things, take on new challenges, and build memories being independent.
